It’s great to hear that technology all around us is becoming simpler for everyone to use. Although this would be extremely helpful for someone with a disability or limited strength due to its light weight and cordless option, it seems like this might be something that would benefit everyone.

This looks like a great product for anyone! Some specific populations that come to mind are individuals who have had a stroke or individuals who use a wheelchair and older adults. The cordless feature is great to reduce risk of falls too. This would be a device I would recommend to clients who can afford the price.
As many others have said, this sounds like an excellent product. I have a family member who has RA and this would be a great device. She has a hard time wrapping the cord up and picking it up while vacuuming. The fact that it is lightweight will also make this task much easier for her to accomplish without becoming fatigued. As a future OT, this is definitely a product that I will keep in mind for my future clients!
I agree with many of the previous comments already made! This seems like a great device for anyone! Vacuuming can be a pain and can wear you out fast, especially someone with decreased strength and endurance. Also, the cords can be a tripping hazard to many and is not the most fun when you have to carry it in your other hand to make sure it doesn’t get caught anywhere. This vacuum does all of the work itself, there is no cord, and it is compact and lightweight as well; perfect for persons with decreased strength, endurance, and a time-saver, too!
This is a great product. Many of my previous clients would benefit from using a more lightweight vacuum. Then they can get back to doing IADLs that are important to them!
Wow, what a great device that can be beneficial not only to those with disabilities but all individuals. I will definitely be adding this to my list of assistive technology for ADL’s. If I have a Ct. in the future who has decreased strength or has an increased risk of falls I will have a suggestion to help them increase their independence in ADL’s!
Thanks for sharing this! We had a really hard time finding a vacuum for my grandmother that was light weight but powerful and I think this is the perfect solution. I was always worried about her balance when pushing a large heavy vacuum around.
This sounds like a great vacuum for everyone! I hate dealing with unplugging and replugging in the vacuum as I move from room to room and with it being light weight I can see how nice that would be for transporting it up and down stairs.
This is a great option to decrease tripping hazards! Caregivers can use this vacuum without the fear of their loved ones hurting themselves because of the cord on the ground.
My family actually just purchased this vacuum. We love it. It is super easy to use, and it is easy for my mom to use. My mom has certain limitations and has decreased strength and endurance, and this makes vacuuming easy for her, especially the stairs.
